DIE HARD [1st Investigation]

It's been almost a week since the X-Class Akudama found themselves in Dotonbori, and the days since Bunny and Shark's little announcement have gone on, seemingly falling on deaf ears. But now, as the sun begins to rise and turn the hanging smog red across the sky, it truly seems that blood is in the air. Not a soul is around on the streets... who will be the first to venture out?

If you want to assist with this, you could take some pictures for evidence and investigate the area around the body while I examine the wounds. How does that sound?

Akira gives Rideaux plenty of space and yes, he takes plenty of pictures on his phone. He's not really one to interfere with the whole procedure, but he does help Rideaux when asked— confirms the lack of blood on him and so forth.

Whenever the examination is over, Akira finally speaks. He's been quiet the whole time, but he visibly looks upset. ]</sub>

Hard to say at this point. Clearly her throat was slit elsewhere, possibly on the roof up there [ which will be very clear with Rachel's evidence but he hasn't seen that yet ], from which she either fell or was forced off afterward.

[ He's got a few thoughts, but he wants to look at the rest of the evidence first. ]

The cut on the wrist is the part I don't have any concrete ideas about, since it looks like they went out of their way to make it difficult to notice compared to the throat wound. It doesn't mean anything to you, does it?

Maybe whoever did was trying to make it look like a suicide and cut her wrist after she fell. Wrist slitting is usually associated with that.. so it makes it look like she jumped after she cut herself.

If that were the case, they would have tried to make it more obvious, not use the thinnest blade they could find and clean up all the blood. Not like they'd be fooling anyone with that throat wound anyway.

Yeah.. it's strange.

Maybe it's just the result of a struggle and not intentional, then. I should have kept a better eye on her.
