FINAL WEEK
Starting Saturday, the layer of clouds in the sky is more solid than ever. Overcast, reflecting the neon light of the city. By Sunday, you'll see more colors than ever, as several new areas are added to the span of your probation. And some areas aren't, but might see an approach anyway. Do the pods containing six weeks of treatment daunt you in the slightest now that judgment awaits at the end of the fourth week? Though faithful treatment participants only experience flashes on the upper third of their bodies now, their counterparts will experience occasional waves of isolating existential coldness. Does your physically present overseer have anything to say for herself? Just remember one thing: Kanto is watching and waiting.

Anyway, he'll sit in front of one of the terminals when they get in the control room, punching in the code and seeing what's loaded in here.
Rollo decides to meander around, before parking himself on the sill of one of the big observation windows, looking out at his kingdom. ]

Rollo will be looking up at the crescent moon. Once Julius puts in the second code, that same moon will be on his screen, along with another code entry box. The code for this section is a bit strange - it seems to be for turning something off.
Rideaux's screen, after entering the third code, will show a bird's eye view of Chuo Square similar to the one in the artwork. This one has even more code entry boxes, involving both on/off toggles and coordinates.]

Might as well check the last one before sending everyone into a panic.
[ He's gonna push back and move over to the third terminal, punching in the codes to see what sort of feed and/or toggles show up for that one. ]

The third terminal is pure code, a lot more complicated - and it requires additional levels of authentication, that the Commissioner herself didn't have.
However, what's here can be compared against coordinates - whatever this is, it's similar to the fog in that respect. It's also clear its effects travel to many different parts of the city.]

Once he hits the wall, he'll glance over at Rideaux's screen, messing with his glasses. ]
I don't suppose you picked up anything of that might help with this during your meeting yesterday?
[ The annoyance is implied. ]

[ He takes out his phone to check those notes again, though he's pretty damn sure he'd remember anything relevant. ]
I got his GHS — an old piece of junk — and copied his notes over onto mine, but unfortunately, I don't believe those included any... phony atmospheric control codes, or whatever we're looking at here.
[ Actually, putting it that way... ]
Honestly, it's funny we never needed anything like this to fool people about the Kudlak.
[ One of the many upsides to being such an influential and trusted business, he supposes. ]

[ He grumbles before moving back to the first terminal, pausing for a moment before toggling this set of controls off. Let's maybe create some mass panic! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ ]

So here we go. Julius turns off the moon hologram, and that crescent slowly fizzles out... but what's left of it still glows in the sky. It is just debris.
That artist is gonna have a field day with this one.]

Yeah, that might as well happen, sure. He's just gonna. Take his glasses off and rub his eyes. ]
I'm not sure what I expected.
[ hey, look on the bright side: no sky fetus? ]

You can't tell what the coordinates for that last one might go to, then?
no subject
[ Y'know. Where they currently are at the moment. ]
Without the right authorization, I can't get any further than that.
[ So he's just gonna DM Gai and just. Have him help get through this authorization so they don't have to make a return trip. ]

After all, the glitches that have followed them throughout the city are simply a powerfully broadcasted illusion.]

Though now it's pretty clear what the coordinates are for, so going back to them, are there like. Inactive ones that could have theoretically been attached to the dead, or are they in random unimportant coordinates? ]
