DIE HARD [1st Investigation]

It's been almost a week since the X-Class Akudama found themselves in Dotonbori, and the days since Bunny and Shark's little announcement have gone on, seemingly falling on deaf ears. But now, as the sun begins to rise and turn the hanging smog red across the sky, it truly seems that blood is in the air. Not a soul is around on the streets... who will be the first to venture out?

[Often the best way to find out if something happened is to see people's reactions. The freedom you have is fairly limited -- stumbling upon people who are talking to each other about 'something happened' isn't too difficult. A thin crowd, formed from side to side of the street, is as good an indication as anything else.

The civilians make sure to keep their distance from any X-Classes approaching, no matter if it's from the skies or coming down the street. Excitement, concern, anger, a lot of different emotions course through the crowds. The source of it all? Someone on the sidewalk, lying down. The awkward positioning of the body hints something is wrong -- it's almost painful-looking! No person should lie down in such a position.

...

...no. Not just one person. A bit further away there's a second person. Two X-Classes, two corpses left out there on the street.

Popping out of the ground makes it easy to see who it is. After all, you perhaps have seen these faces several times on the billboards and in the hospital. Fellow criminals, who are now lying lifeless.

People watch Flowey and Akira's every move, stepping as far as they can while also keeping that morbid desire to look, not wanting to miss not even one second of it all, while robots start pushing the civilians away. X-Classes handle any deaths among their number.

[* Flowey laughs, incredibly amused. A bit of a shame, though, One of them could've proven useful to him. The other, he only knew the name.]

[* He does try and send a message out to all the other X-Classes via phone saying that they really should come to the Karaoke bar to chill, eat breakfast, and discuss things about the two X-Class corpses.]

[* Finally, he turns to one of the robots.]

You didn't happen to see anything, did you?

[It's a text from her friend... so of course she's coming, even though she's anxious about the corpses part.

But she does try to get a look anyway.]
