Saturday passes uneventfully save a little rain. It's on Sunday that you get a little notification of probation for new areas: Neo-Nipponbashi and Chuo. It'd be possible to investigate, to check out some anime, or to worship the defunct Shinkansen. But maybe it's hard to get excited about any of that when Friday’s events suggest that you have simply been provided some additional photogenic places to commit murder. Are you going to bother either overseer after their participation in some mockery of justice? Troll the internet? Get a bat out of Hyper Zone and just take out your frustration on everything?

Those of you who entered the pods will experience fewer “painful bursts of color” as your body is unaffected below the knees, though the same amount of “slight teleportation” glitches. Those of you who abstained from the pods will continue to experience all of the above as well as electric shock sensations occasionally when touching metal objects.

[Welcome back to the mysterious sensation of floating and Floor B2. Do any of the talks from the first trial give you a different perspective to try? Or are you resigned to this duty of attendance?]

[There are two things that Rachel thinks to do this time in the pod.

The first is that she takes her phone and starts recording a video before setting it on her chest, camera facing up, so that it can record the inner workings of the pod. Things she won't be able to see if she focuses on her own experiences. It might not tell her anything, but she won't know until she tries.

The second is all in her head. Based on what she does know that she knows now that two people had two different ideas about these pods. Loremaster believed that some sort of connection could be established between here and home. Or at least that's what she wanted to do. Meanwhile the Physicist believed that the effect could be a result of her mind and senses.

So to test that she attempts to focus on something different she believes to be true. If she's really here... really gone... Zack should be looking for her. Rachel tries to focus on that and only that, to see if it will have any effect on what she feels.]

[But that was the thing about the different floors in the building. There was no connection. Even though her heart tells her that Zach should be looking for her, and the evidence always bore out this conclusion so far, she would have to go through the elevators and so on to get proof. And it's thinking about this construction, what was ultimately created by Gray, that makes the assumption (he's watching her) abate a little. Maybe someone else really could do the same thing. Dull her senses and awareness of reality...

The colored lamps are gentle in their changes yet chaotic over time, with a wild lack of pattern. Rachel is not literally floating. A relief. That's what the video says.]

[If this is based on her perception than everything should be there-- including the elevators. Can she, if she maps out her path in her mind, find the elevator that would take her to the other floors?

Because if so... she wants to see if she can go to her floor.]

[In the end, it is a choice to reflect on her memories, inspired by the atmospheric perception. (Just as "God watching her" does not bless her eyes themselves with an image a bearded old man, or a ray of commanding light.) As Zack's partner, she did demonstrate these skills. Slowly, the elevator forms in her mind's eye.
