WEEK 2
Saturday passes uneventfully save a little rain. It's on Sunday that you get a little notification of probation for new areas: Neo-Nipponbashi and Chuo. It'd be possible to investigate, to check out some anime, or to worship the defunct Shinkansen. But maybe it's hard to get excited about any of that when Friday’s events suggest that you have simply been provided some additional photogenic places to commit murder. Are you going to bother either overseer after their participation in some mockery of justice? Troll the internet? Get a bat out of Hyper Zone and just take out your frustration on everything?
Those of you who entered the pods will experience fewer “painful bursts of color” as your body is unaffected below the knees, though the same amount of “slight teleportation” glitches. Those of you who abstained from the pods will continue to experience all of the above as well as electric shock sensations occasionally when touching metal objects.
INTERNET | SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
((Internet investigations of any kind go here, and for all IRL areas, please use "investigate" in the subject line of your top-level comment, or link the thread to a moderator!))

Neo-Nipponbashi;
[ Sephiroth can't say he feels like he should care. But he's here, because he can be and he can go anywhere he likes or pleases. He just chooses not to (lol) ]

Almost makes you wonder if they recognize their own hypocrisy. Condemning others to death while they sit back and ignore the blood on their hands... a crowd drunk on its own righteousness is a scary thing.
no subject
Quite. A bit amusing all on its own, though it's bound to become tiresome at some point.
...Until they're the ones at the mercy of those they've condemned.

[And honestly, the fact that the city isn't burning down as they speak is a testament to how patient they've been so far??]

All of us have been merely 'behaving' as it were because naturally we've been waiting to see if there was something to gain from this.
However, the fact remains that we are stronger than who would dare to claim they've any hold over either of us.
[ At least, that is what Sephiroth perceives to be the case. He is a man filled to the brim of arrogance...and yet, he knows that even the best laid plans can be foiled. It is why he went to the trouble of intercepting that woman who cast 'Holy' instead of trusting his powers to be enough.
The longer they wait, he is sure the situation will cease to be within what they can control. ]
We should utilize that to our advantage and let loose the flames of chaos upon this city.

[There's a pause here as he seems to consider Sephiroth's... well, everything in this case, but there's finally a nod at the end.]
Okay, let's do it. Sounds like you have a plan in mind already, too.

[ Regardless, there is a smirk of sorts...somewhere between amusement and a hint of some form of satisfaction. ]
I imagine it will make your week a little more exciting, nonetheless.
[ Which is a definite answer on its own. ]
no subject
His usual grin widens some in response to the smirk.]
Of course. After all, everything around here is tepid when I'd much rather play with fire. I can't help but wonder what defenses we'll need to penetrate, though...
no subject
That is the question of the hour, isn't it?
I suspect that they're not paper thin at the least. How else could they have managed to keep up this farce for so long?
