WEEK 2
Saturday passes uneventfully save a little rain. It's on Sunday that you get a little notification of probation for new areas: Neo-Nipponbashi and Chuo. It'd be possible to investigate, to check out some anime, or to worship the defunct Shinkansen. But maybe it's hard to get excited about any of that when Friday’s events suggest that you have simply been provided some additional photogenic places to commit murder. Are you going to bother either overseer after their participation in some mockery of justice? Troll the internet? Get a bat out of Hyper Zone and just take out your frustration on everything?
Those of you who entered the pods will experience fewer “painful bursts of color” as your body is unaffected below the knees, though the same amount of “slight teleportation” glitches. Those of you who abstained from the pods will continue to experience all of the above as well as electric shock sensations occasionally when touching metal objects.
INTERNET | SUNDAY | MONDAY | TUESDAY | WEDNESDAY | THURSDAY
((Internet investigations of any kind go here, and for all IRL areas, please use "investigate" in the subject line of your top-level comment, or link the thread to a moderator!))

Hospital
[Zenos' voice suddenly appears, and so does he—leaning against the wall just outside of the pharmacy that Rideaux has walked out of. That same, pleased smile is settled on his face.]
In my world, they obey the commands of men, regardless. Their insolence is tiring, is it not?
no subject
That's one way of putting it, I suppose.
[ He sighs and slips the medicine into his shopping bag with his sunglasses. ]
I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with one disobeying the instructions of someone who clearly doesn't know what they're dealing with, but I, at least, should have full override permissions for everything that happens in that particular room.

And regardless of the very plain disdain Rideaux shows, he will only be met with that unnervingly indolent smile and further conversation.]
Why is that? [His head tilts with the question,] surely coroners would not know much about alchemical medicines.
no subject
And "manufacturing drugs" was literally listed on my profile here.
no subject
Be that as it may, pray tell me, are you doing anything nefarious with that medicine?
no subject
I don't know why you think I'd tell you if I was, but no. I have a headache so I picked up some basic pain medicine. Pretty straightforward.
no subject
[A dramatic sigh, his cheek falling against his knuckles as if making a show of it.]
Though, I must apologize [—he seems completely apathetic in his delivery, deadpan eyes and all—] I do hope I am not making your headache any worse.
no subject
[ Smiles. ]
So, what, you decided to hang around the door until I came out of there, or you just got lucky?
no subject
Zenos pushes himself off the wall in one fluid motion.]
Do you truly wish to know? [Rhetorical question. He continues,] rather, have you been to the museum's history exhibit, yet?
