WEEK 2
Saturday passes uneventfully save a little rain. It's on Sunday that you get a little notification of probation for new areas: Neo-Nipponbashi and Chuo. It'd be possible to investigate, to check out some anime, or to worship the defunct Shinkansen. But maybe it's hard to get excited about any of that when Friday’s events suggest that you have simply been provided some additional photogenic places to commit murder. Are you going to bother either overseer after their participation in some mockery of justice? Troll the internet? Get a bat out of Hyper Zone and just take out your frustration on everything?
Those of you who entered the pods will experience fewer “painful bursts of color” as your body is unaffected below the knees, though the same amount of “slight teleportation” glitches. Those of you who abstained from the pods will continue to experience all of the above as well as electric shock sensations occasionally when touching metal objects.

Investigation
It's really neat to walk around and see the 'paintings' come to life! At least until one appears that shows a place Julius probably saw not that long ago: the Chuo square nearby.
It's a simple holo painting. When it turns out it shows that's obviously the Chuo square at nighttime, a starry sky, the buildings nearby seemingly closing up, people walking around with normal bored expressions. Once Julius gets closer, though, the hologram seems to change. Layers that were there before are now less visible once he gets close, showing layers that were once hidden. The stars in the sky are gone, people are looking upwards with puzzled expressions. There's also...fog, it seems. A layer of wispy, almost imperceptible fog.
The title of the work seems to be 'The Stars Were Gone', by some artist with a pseudonym. The date is recent, less than half a year ago]
