When you venture outside, there is a single theme in the whispers of any person on the street.

The sky is cloudless above the smog. Does this really have anything to do with you? Did everyone else wake up in the residences this morning? Or will you take the bus route up to Chuo just in case?

[ Okay. What's going on here at first glance? ]

[A lot. A lot is going on, General.

But hey, you've come through the entrance, so have something nice and gross on the floor: a batlike wing. It has blood like it was torn off something alive.]

[ Hmm wonder where it could've been from! Anyway he's seen Akira flying around so it probably looks familiar to him, doesn't it...???

Is there anything else besides the fact it looks like it was torn off of something? Someone's piece of clothing on it, any metal shards/glass? If not, is there anything around it? ]

[Oh, well, with that comparison it's obvious what this small thing is: Not the meter-long wings he mainly used to fly, but a smaller one that sprouted out of his head.

There's not really stuff on the wing itself. There is a trail of brown fur on the ground that extends both deeper inside the facility, and back outside. In fact, as he puts the wing back down or otherwise withdraws his attention, he'll see the wild damage deeper inside the facility. Some of the attractions have seen better nights.]

[ Yeah he didn't touch it but he sure like looked relatively close. He may have gloves but also if he doesn't have to touch it he won't. After like nudging it with his foot, he will ensure that the immediate area doesn't have any other parts of interest before heading deeper into the facility.

So, which attraction that's damaged/has damage in the surrounding area is closest? Because he'll check that one out first. And what would be the extent of said damage as he closes in that'd be noticeable right from the first glance? ]

[So, the trail of fur leads you past a second damaged attraction, straight to a Dance Dance Revolution machine. You know, with metal safety rails and everything.

...but this one is not so safe. Something slammed down HARD onto the rail from the direction Sephiroth is approaching, pushing it towards the rest of the machine. Woah. What happened to the rest of the machine? It's playing music... or trying. Eerie.]

What even.

Okay anything else in this wreckage of the machine? Any blood? Strange objects in it or nearby it? ]

[You get closer to the screen and see some smash mark on the screen, the body of the machine. But there's a readable section with a high score. Apparently, "Seeker" nearly full-comboed a song on Expert Mode.]

[ ...this means sadly almost nothing to Sephiroth other than the fact Seeker was clearly a very good dancer??? Got those leg moving skillz. But it is sure to be relevant enough to bring up in the upcoming trial. Interesting.

Does the smash mark look like something with small or big force hit it? If he walks around to the back of the machine is there anything else? If not, is there anything else about the screen at the front that is notable? Any damage on any other parts of the machine or other things in the surrounding area? ]

[Both the rail mark and the screen mark are big forces. Definitely big. This was definitely not some little air-soft gun impact.

As he looks around the area, he will see something on the wall. Under a sign saying "IN CASE OF EMERGENCY BREAK GLASS."

A compartment that is host to a little shower of broken glass.

This area is bloodless.]

[ Interesting...

He will head over to the thing on the wall. Is there anything still remaining inside of that compartment? Or is just, like, full of only glass? ]

[It is empty except for glass! Though some of it got on like. The floor. A good bit of glass is still in its frame.]

[ Hmmm...he has no idea in blazes what it could've been, but that's fine. He reluctantly gets out a phone and takes a picture. Now he has something else besides a selfie on here.

Will he be able to find any pieces of glass in the immediate area away from here? If not, are there any conspicuous items that are lying around in a way in the area that makes them noticeable or suspicious? ]

[No objects are on the ground that seem out of place. There are the jarred controllers like the House of the Dead game, but that's attached to its own arcade machine, so it couldn't have been in the compartment.

Your search leads you back to the trail of fur where you see two black feathers.]

[Sup he's here too, because a high-traffic area = good chance of stumbling across something, at least in his book.

Since Sephiroth has the entrance, he'll go a little further in and start looking around inside the arcade itself. What's he going to find?]

[Hey, remember playing House of the Dead in here? One of the guns is hanging down out of place as you walk past it. There are other games in this condition too though.

But what stands out to you is a crane game with an enormous hole in the glass window.]

[Okay, he knows some people have Crane Game Rage, but that's a bit much even for that.

So. Looking at the hole now-- any blood on the glass or anything like that? And how big is "enormous" here? Fist-sized, bigger than that, etc.?]

[The hole is bloodless. It takes up almost half the window; bigger than a fist, you can stick your arm inside and put your elbow at a couple different angles.

Examine the wares? They are also bloodless.]

[Sure, why not. Free crane game prizes to fence let's go!

Any damage to them too that would hint at the force of the impact?]

[The wares are intact. There's so many. They're plush chickens in every subcategory and color imaginable. Roosters, hens, chicks, fat, small... the works.]

[... okay, so much for that fencing idea. Is there anything of particular note to them? Aside from... the variety, that is. Are there any visibly missing or otherwise disturbed?

Otherwise, he'll turn his attention back to the hole and check the edges for any sort of fibers, hair, etc.]

[There are so many, in such random floppy plush positions, that it seems certain if one had been taken, it'd be unnoticeable.

The edges of the hole in the glass are clean because it is so large.]

[Hmm, all right. He'll take photos of the machine and the hole from different angles just to document this. Is there anything else about the machine that would catch his eye?

Also, don't mind him just sort of tapping on the glass a bit so he can get a feel for how thick it is and give him a better gauge of how much force it might take to break it like that.]
