Is there such a thing as a quiet day in Kansai? Ever since the resounding crash of the radio tower above the police station, not really. Often a freed criminal or two is heard hollering around some corner. Maybe it's quiet in the sense that humbler citizens are outright wary of the X-Class Akudama. At the research hospital, at least, there's very little commotion. Do you want to just stay in bed? Were you up all night? Or is it the perfect time to awaken and get some bread?

Anyway, time to get a better look at the road. Tracks indicate that some large vehicle with tires screeched to a halt in front of Cyber Sushi.]

Anyways, Zenos is going to take a look at the road. Is the car itself still there, or is it gone?]

[No vehicles nearby at all. When you look at the ground to be absoltely sure, you see a faint, indistinct heel mark near the path by the machine.

Slowly you cross the road and to your right, closer to the alley, you see a fire hydrant. It is two-headed with the side facing out to the street a Shark mouth dribbling water. What could the pink back half be like?

The tire marks stopped just before this hydrant.]

[Zenos snaps a picture of the heel mark and moves along, also taking a photo of where the burnt rubber stopped near the garish shark-and-likely-bunny fire hydrant.

Is the fire hydrant just an indicator of where the tire marks stopped? Or is there anything else odd (like, did the tracks swerve towards the side walk? Away?)]

[The tracks swerve from the south up and west towards Cyber Sushi.

The other side of the fire hydrant used to be Bunny but has been bashed so hard that the ears are dangling off! Wow. This is painted pink and everything, but at the end of the day it's still made of metal.

[There is a gutter out here. Yellowtail sushi is swimming in it in a few pieces. Some blood. Mostly a lot of water and mud. One small metallic chunk. And several little charred black knucklebones.

That sums it up.]

[Gross. But also kinda neat.

Zenos fishes the metal chunk out of the gutter. What is it?]

[It's a really little plated piece of something larger. When you remember stabbing the conical police robots that run around, it looks like carnage from that.]
