DIE HARD [1st Investigation]
It's been almost a week since the X-Class Akudama found themselves in Dotonbori, and the days since Bunny and Shark's little announcement have gone on, seemingly falling on deaf ears. But now, as the sun begins to rise and turn the hanging smog red across the sky, it truly seems that blood is in the air. Not a soul is around on the streets... who will be the first to venture out?

...As soon as he finishes that croissant. That's what Marcille would want anyway, right?
Aaand when that's done he's going to start by taking a look at her. So. How is she positioned on the ground here? ]
no subject
What the hell happened to her..!? Who did this!?
no subject
That's what I'm intending to find out. You don't have a problem with that, do you?
no subject
[ Oh my god, he's giving her a closer look. Not touching though. He feels his heart sink and his stomach twist. Old habits die hard, especially when it's those of compassion for someone he wasn't human. We remembers Marcille talking about that when they were eating noodles together. She was different just like he is. Just thinking that could be a part of a person's motives makes his blood boil. Hoo boy. He's gonna get mad. ]
Who could have done such a thing to her!? Look at her billboard! She didn't deserve to die compared to the rest of us!
no subject
Again, that's what we're here to find out.
[ That part is said firmly and slowly, like he's speaking to a little kid. ]
If you want to assist with this, you could take some pictures for evidence and investigate the area around the body while I examine the wounds. How does that sound?
no subject
Akira gives Rideaux plenty of space and yes, he takes plenty of pictures on his phone. He's not really one to interfere with the whole procedure, but he does help Rideaux when asked— confirms the lack of blood on him and so forth.
Whenever the examination is over, Akira finally speaks. He's been quiet the whole time, but he visibly looks upset. ]
What do you.. think so far?

Once this rushed breakfast is finished, it's corpse-checking time! Marcille's sprawled body is lying on the sidewalk, one arm under the torso, face down. All of her limbs are positioned awkwardly -- thankfully none of them broken to the point of showing bones, but they're certainly not okay.
There's little blood under her body, though. No more than a small stain or two]
no subject
So, okay, the relative lack of blood is definitely notable given the cause of death on the police report. Aside from the broken limbs, are there any injuries visible on her in her current position? Or are we not going to see anything notable until we turn her over? ]

If you could look over my clothes briefly so you can attest that any blood that might transfer from the body when I touch it wasn't on me already?
[ People will probably trust Akira's word more than any crime scene selfie he could take. Not that all the red he wears makes it easy, but he doesn't appear to have any blood on the clothes he's wearing if checked!
So, whenever that's settled, he'll get down on the sidewalk and carefully lift Marcille's body up to turn her over. Does anything else feel broken in her torso or anything as he moves her? ]
no subject
Something else may be noticeable as soon as he turns it over, though: a cut on Marcille's throat, still stained with blood. It's not the only grostesque finding this corpse will have, but it certainly is the most noticeable one right away!]

...
It occurs to Flowey he's actually never investigated a human corpse before. And there wasn't many media that represented or depicted body searching, so, uh... Flowey's just gonna wing it, first snapping a couple of photos of the bodies. He knows to do that much. Then he'll...
uh...
Check for any wounds? Flowey assumes human wounds look noticeable.]

Starting off: what's the positioning look like?]
no subject
She's kind of curled on the sidewalk, just a couple meters away from Marcille -- lying on a side. Absolutely no blood is found under her body.
Overall the positioning is a little less broken than Marcille's, but were she alive, she'd still feel the strain of trying to hold her limbs in such an awkward position]
no subject
But let's take a closer look at those injuries right now. He'll start with the one on the head-- if he touches it gently, will he be able to feel that the skull is broken underneath? And is there any visible bruising/pooling of blood in that area?]
no subject
That said, yes! Touching that part of the head does hint the skull has suffered severe damage -- it's not outright shattered, but it's broken enough for, well, for it to be noticeable. The extent of the injury cannot be examined given it's still all under the scalp, though.
There's blood on that area of the head. Doesn't have a specific shape, it's pretty much what you'd expect from this sort of injury. There's no blood on the sidewalk where her head was at, though]
no subject
How big is this head injury? What sort of weapon/object might we be looking at here in terms of the cause, in other words? And is that blood totally dried or still damp?]
no subject
...it's pretty hard to tell. It's a sizable injury, but the object/weapon it was made with is impossible to determine.
All Gai can tell is that it's rather large and with a flat surface, large enough to not have left any sort of shape nor indentations.
As for the blood, well, it has started to dry -- as expected from a corpse that has been left out there for a while. No anomalies to report on this topic!]
