FINAL WEEK
Starting Saturday, the layer of clouds in the sky is more solid than ever. Overcast, reflecting the neon light of the city. By Sunday, you'll see more colors than ever, as several new areas are added to the span of your probation. And some areas aren't, but might see an approach anyway. Do the pods containing six weeks of treatment daunt you in the slightest now that judgment awaits at the end of the fourth week? Though faithful treatment participants only experience flashes on the upper third of their bodies now, their counterparts will experience occasional waves of isolating existential coldness. Does your physically present overseer have anything to say for herself? Just remember one thing: Kanto is watching and waiting.

MONDAY
PODS?

I just wanted to tell you that this is the last week I'm going to be treating you directly.
[How teacherly.]
Kanto... has taken notice of you guys now. Some of you really might be X-Class Zendama, who deserve a second chance. Others? Have committed crimes on camera for all of Kansai to see. The restoration of the Shinkansen means totally new treatment options might open up... but you also might not be welcome in Kansai or Kanto anymore.
So think about it. Where you want to be on Saturday. [She shrugs, lowers her eyebrows.] Personally, despite everything, I do recommend existing.
[Is there anything left of value in the good books of Kansai's leadership? Or is it safer to bet on the destructive strengths of your comrades?
Choose carefully.]

[Somehow, his heart was sinking. He didn't know why but he didn't feel too good about it.]

[Promising.]
Two categories, though. New materials being brought into Kansai, or you guys being invited out into Kanto.

[It's a vision of Mikey. Oh boy.]
You know, I didn't think you'd come back here at first. But it's really peaceful, huh?

[* But where does he want to be...?]
[* ...Maybe... Flowey wants to be... on the surface...]

Rather, being so disconnected from reality is giving you this incredibly vivid vision of your place in the universe. It is as if you have come to the surface once more, with their soul alongside you, and are looking out onto the glittering glorified village that is Kansai.
Their text beeps are clear within your mind.]
Well, prince? What will you do?

*... But Flowey is determined.]
[* He'll go into the city to looking around and taking in the sights. And... maybe... speak with some humans.]

And he still has no intention of getting into any of those pods, glitches or not.]

Virtuous, obviously.

Doesn't look too bad. But it doesn't have quite the same ring to it, either.

And how are you so sure that we will simply cease to exist? That continued survival hinges upon the back of your treatment?
[A pause, and he lifts a hand to his cheek, leaning it against his knuckles.]
We could simply kill everyone in both Kansai and Kanto, and then there would be no one to stop us.

It's very bold of you to say that when there isn't the slightest twinkle in your eye of a direct counter to the glitches. No mask or armor you can put over them.
To be honest, I can't rule out you guys wresting control of the annihilation reactor or something and kissing this entire city-state goodbye. Leaving the territory of Kansai and killing anyone in Kanto, though, are both much harder than you seem to even fathom.
no subject
Have you made the attempt, then? [A sly smile splits his face,] care to enlighten me? From one Akudama to another?

investigation
[This isn't an exclusive club by any means, but it largely effects those who were part of the intial attack. Damian's been hard at work trying to circumvent the bracelets and he called everyone with one over here early in the morning to get theirs removed. Anyone who wants to come watch is perfectly able to do so.
He's tapping some stuff on a tablet, frowning. Eventually, he'll relax and sit back, lazily drawing a Batarang from his belt and measuring it against the bracelet.]
Done. They're deactivated. You can essentially just destroy them now.
[Congrats.]
II. Warehouse (Investigation!)
[Damian finds this area particularly fascinating, and arrives in haste. He's sneaking through, listening to conversations. The supplies of the regular Warehouses are interesting but he also knows some of the best info he can get can simply be gained through fear and intimidation.
So when he snatches up one of the workers with the same line he used to string up the Commissioner, grabs him by the scruff of his shirt and pushes him against the railing of the warehouse rooftop far enough that he will absolutely fall off and die if Damian lets go.] Scream or call for help and I'll fucking kill you. Understand?
What's in the Black Warehouse?
no subject
[The guy presumably gets dipped again.]
I mean it! Let me think!
[He's unlikely to get to think long. Because the black warehouse is where Akira's tracker goes.]
no subject
[He punches him in the lip.]
I know that's where the bodies go. What happens to them when they do? How do I get inside? Give me something. Now.
no subject
[I supposed to be on duty at the same time as a specific transfer that has occurred five times for barely a few minutes. But useful, useful.]
All kinds of stuff goes in there! It's been up for less than a year, don't know how it got rezoned so much. Live sea creatures... servers... meds...
no subject
[He'll draw a batarang and place it against this guy's throat.] Falling to your death is quick, the shock means it's over in a moment and your spine will be so mangled you'll barely even feel anything in your body.
Choking on your own blood isn't.
