Starting Saturday, the layer of clouds in the sky is more solid than ever. Overcast, reflecting the neon light of the city. By Sunday, you'll see more colors than ever, as several new areas are added to the span of your probation. And some areas aren't, but might see an approach anyway. Do the pods containing six weeks of treatment daunt you in the slightest now that judgment awaits at the end of the fourth week? Though faithful treatment participants only experience flashes on the upper third of their bodies now, their counterparts will experience occasional waves of isolating existential coldness. I'd like to free them regardless.

This practice... it represents everything I hate. [And he wants to know, if given the chance, that the people of this world will do the right thing. If humanity is worth saving. If his grandfather was wrong.]

There will always be those who are selected out, but they still deserve that chance to fight for themselves.

Yes. I know that I have to fight for them regardless but... nobody should subject others to their will on such a grand scale.

From the sound of things, we're already well on our way there on the "paying the price" front. But I'm not going to be in such a hurry to burn everything down just yet. There may still be some pieces we can use to our advantage...

The Physicist, for one, is more aligned with us than one would expect. She's already given me information that's of use. I don't imagine she would like to be on our side, but she's swiftly learning that she has no other option after we thoroughly ruined her own plans.

And the people that we killed... well, survival instinct can be a good motivator for switching sides. The time will come when they all must make a choice.

I have my own lead that I plan on chasing down later. I don't know whether or not it'll pan out in terms of information, but I should be able to get something worthwhile out of it in one way or another.
