So, the first day is over. You are confined in various ways for the foreseeable future. There are two overseers you can bother, and pods they want you to get into, but many of you would rather do anything else. Honestly, even the flurry of posts on social media don’t seem particularly interested in talking up this prospect; when searches for the titles start to get results, they’re mostly about the posters’ own avoidance or occasional morbid fascination. There are even one or two newly taken pictures of the particularly outrageous and photogenic poses. At least photos are rare enough that you can be confident not every move is being watched. Conditions are much better than Saturday to wander all the way down to the Execution HQ Ruins, take the shuttle to the police station, or investigate other parts of the setting. As the weather forecast said, Sunday and Monday are smoggy and sunny.

It gives her this physical feeling like she is floating. And another deeply familiar feeling... It's like... Being at church. But after everything that's happened, should that really be familiar? Analyze the discrepancy? Or sink in?]

With Loremaster's wild experiences of pain and other sensations, it may be very easy to observe this feeling completely from the outside. Live in the moment? Or observe?]

[The monitors display a bunch of wildly colored line graphs. On top, there are some that are associated with numbers. It'd take a lot of experience with a specific measurement system to be sure, but heartrate for example seems like a no-brainer. Then a lot of Greek letters. Sometimes two Greek letters are used to label one overlapping line graph. Then there is one unlabelled graph at the bottom, a bit larger and bolder so it is easier to see.

For Loremaster the line stays basically straight.
For Fixer the line goes down.

He is welcome to take a picture or even full-length video. The data does not copy over as data, of course.

[ Hm. He's used to different measurements of data so he'll need to probe further before being able to determine exactly what this is supposed to mean. Give him a second to look around the room and—ah. There's Belial.

Not a sentence he uses lightly. He stalks on over and rather than asking for anything, he pulls open Belial's stupid jacket and grabs an item from one of the pockets. When he's done, he turns on his heel and ignores anything Belial might say. Because Belial is Belial.

If he sticks this half-elixir in another pod and starts it up, what kind of readings does he get? If any.

Note that if it breaks Belial is gonna have to clean it up. ]

[Like Lucilius, he's definitely not here to get in a pod, but he sure is here to watch other people jump in and 'demonstrate' how this thing is supposed to work. So for his part, he'll just be leaning quietly against a wall with his arms crossed as he watches the proceedings, although he'll also give a light wave to any others who come in. [It's hard not to notice her clear interest in the process even if she hadn't spoken up about it, but that just leads to a faint hint of amusement leaking into his voice.]

That being said, he seems interested in the demonstration in a cursory way -- there's not quite the active wariness and hostility demonstrated by some of the others in his posture; but he doesn't seem especially eager either. Attentive; watchful.

Belial's small talk gets a flicker of a gaze, but no more.]

It is not much of one, in any sense of the word.

Anyway, Kimimaro's presence does merit a glance over in his direction though, since it's not as if Belial's met every one of his fellow criminals yet. Unfamiliar faces are always worth watching out for.]

[No way in hell is Gai getting into one, but you'd better believe he's here to watch the process like a hawk.

He'll be observing both what he can see of what's happening in the pods (if that's possible) as well as what's going on with the pods and the machinery itself during the whole thing. If anything in particular catches his interest, he may try to snap a quick photo of it with his phone.]

[.... All things considered, it's almost redundant to sit here and wait for the demonstration to be over with. There's so much that's familiar about this space -- the smell of sterility, of medicine, the clinical attentiveness of the one(s) overseeing it like a scalpel.

Truthfully, their hosts are far more personable than Kabuto ever needed nor bothered himself to be, so much of the time. That's how things are in the Sound. But that's neither here nor there.

Kimimaro will wait for the demonstrations, at the least. The Physicist herself is going in the pods for 15 minutes, yes? What are the differences between herself and the other X-Class Akudama here, just looking at the demonstration data? Once she emerges and everything else is winding down, Kimimaro will make his way over.]

... I would prefer to do this, too, outside of a group setting.

[Both Physicist and Loremaster getting in before the others was on the grounds to prove that nobody just explodes. Fixer ended up doing it immediately, Loremaster almost at the same time, so on these grounds Physicist hasn't done it; she has helped Vessel get into the pods a couple minutes later. Pirate had also entered the pod a little while after Loremaster exited.

She looks the Dancer up and down curiously.]
