WEEK 1
So, the first day is over. You are confined in various ways for the foreseeable future. There are two overseers you can bother, and pods they want you to get into, but many of you would rather do anything else. Honestly, even the flurry of posts on social media don’t seem particularly interested in talking up this prospect; when searches for the titles start to get results, they’re mostly about the posters’ own avoidance or occasional morbid fascination. There are even one or two newly taken pictures of the particularly outrageous and photogenic poses. At least photos are rare enough that you can be confident not every move is being watched. Conditions are much better than Saturday to wander all the way down to the Execution HQ Ruins, take the shuttle to the police station, or investigate other parts of the setting. As the weather forecast said, Sunday and Monday are smoggy and sunny.
What will you do?

THURSDAY
Re: THURSDAY
GIVE ME ONLY WHAT I NEED [What's better than screaming into a microphone, completely off-key, to an obscure American 60s-retro rock band?] IT DOESN'T TAKE TOO MUCH TO KEEP ME SATISFIED
Holo-Tattoo Parlor
[And with this visit, he has travelled to every place he could in Dotonbori.
His arms were already covered in them "cool", "badass" biker tattoos. The ones that stuck out beyond all the skulls and bones was the Retribution logo (a grim reaper with two knives bordering either cheek and two revolvers crossing under its chin) on his left bicep, and a tattoo of a hawk on his right bicep that's holding onto a snake, which goes all the way down his right arm and onto his hand.
He knew just what to do when he entered the parlor...]
'scuse me, I don't suppose you could trace over my tattoos? [If he can get cool glowy things that make noises and change color he's gonna get 'em dammit.]
Parlor
Chyeah! Which ones you want done?

Investigation
[Gai's interest in the arts leans more towards music than theater, but hey, it's something to do and also something to check out, because he knows well that places like this are exactly where gossip gets around.
He'll hang towards the back of the theater and just see what he can overhear in terms of casual conversations from the people around him, as well as see whether or not anything in particular stands out, be that in the theater itself, the performers or the audience.]
Biriken Mart
[It's probably a good thing that convenience store food is what he's used to eating most of the time, and as such he's happy to stock up on basics like onigiri, katsu sando, yakisoba pan, etc. etc. The lack of any sort of produce is a bit of an annoyance, but he isn't really picky-- food is food, after all.
And booze is booze, and it looks like this store has quite the selection of that, too. Yes, he's 17, and yes, he's looking at the booze. Got a problem with that?
... but when he gets up to the front, it would seem that they're a little more strict on enforcing the ID rules here, which leads to one very annoyed teenage resistance organization leader having to part with his cans of beer at the checkout.]
So much for the perks of being a criminal...
Pharmacy
[Later on, Gai can be found in the pharmacy, examining the supply of drugs and supplements and frowning. Well, that's... passable, he guesses, at least in terms of things that might help, but...
He turns to one of the drones.]
Hey. Is this all you've got?
[If he seems slightly on edge, well, you wouldn't be wrong.]
yose theater
Something sinks in over the course of these several minutes. At first, it seems normal to not bother with every single sentence ending, but the lack of an exception even amidst jokes for several is ultimately eerie. To a one, they speak in Kanto accents.]

He's not looking forward to having to attempt to explain the intricacies of the Japanese writing system to others, but that's a matter for another day.]

LEADER RECOGNIZED!!!
[It's getting something out of the locked cabinet. A second drone is bringing over equipment. Aha. Transfusions incoming.]

For the time being, he's just going to have to trust that they want to keep him alive. It's not as though he has any other choice, really...]
